Let there be GREEN!

The front yard of the Next building is finally greener! Our sustainability officer Karoline has accepted the planting duties and did a great job. White and green evergreens, Christmas roses and anemones were spread around the numerous trees. They will quickly bloom in a few weeks and shall welcome the Next tenants with a colorful mix every morning.

After such a "good morning" the creative minds of our working space will easily kick off the day!

Beautiful views for our largest tenant!

TÜV Rheinland can look forward to one of the best vantage points on the Malzfabrik premises!

In our attractive modern building complex Next, the building from the nineties next to the Malzfabrik, the TÜV Rheinland Akademie GmbH is setting up this month as a multiple tenant with an overall rented space of over 1000 m².

We warmly welcome the TÜV Rheinland Akademie GmbH, the campus GmbH and AMD TÜV Arbeitsmedizinische Dienste GmbH to the group of tenants who enjoy the view over our beautiful green lawn to the silhouette of the Malzfabrik. The entire third floor was completed in record time and after the successful transfer, we now observe the transport of the final, fully packed moving boxes. Luckily, the previous location in the Alboinstraße is only 5 minutes away. So moving is stressfree and even if you forgot something, you can just quickly run around the corner.

Now we go full throttle on the ground floor where the successfull Hamburg caterer Foodpol will be moving in soon and in parallel we finish the renovation of the fourth floor. The Photoacademy Urbschat, now temporarily located on the second floor, will set up their offices in the coming months – with the same inspiring view.

We are excited about the expansion and enrichment of our colorful tenant group, the many new faces and the beautiful views for all those involved in the Next!

Colourful Next!

The mix of tenants already renting in the Next could not be more diverse. Adding even more colour, the Photoacademy Berlin joined them this month.

The Photoacademy Berlin is the result of the successful family-owned Art & Photo Urbschat on Kurfürstendamm, the first choice for portrait photography for over 50 years.

The school is run by the third generation and offers a revolutionary training concept. Within a three-year training you will be schooled as a photographer (HWK) and media-designer digital/print at the same time. Next to all areas of photography, the school focuses on self-marketing for creative professions, on business administration and sales psychology.

The academy will be joined by the Living Faces Make-up School School in September, a company which is to also run by a Urbschat daughter. Here you can be trained as a make-up artist for various professions. If you want to find out about the schools, you are cordially invited to attend the open saturdays:

25.5., 8.6. and 15.6. from 10 am to 4 pm

Turbo tenant

If there was an award for the fastest lease signing process, our new tenant Carsten Niepelt would be a sure winner.

He stopped by at the Malzfabrik for a spontaneous visit to look at different spaces in our neighbouring Next. Enchanted by the special atmosphere and the beautiful rooms he signed the lease within a week and received his office keys instantly. We extend a warm welcome and are always glad about such spontaneous and decisive tenants.

More info about Carsten Niepelt and his company Intellectual Property can be found at

Breathing new life

For some time now we just cannot stop extending welcomes, so many friendly new tenants are moving into the Next.

These include the Art & Photo Urbschat oHG, setting up their studio on the entire 4th floor with the training center “Photo Academy Urbschat” and the make-up school "livingfaces". On the 3rd floor we welcome the TÜV Rheinland AG a leading global technology services provider. The company is dedicated to sustainable and independent testing, inspection, certification, consulting and training.

One floor down Carsten Niepelt has established his company Niepelt Intellectual Property in the Next with two other tenants. This includes the baya Online-Distribution GmbH, an online sales company dedicated to the integration of manufacturers and wholesalers, both national and international, on the German labor market. In addition, the costume designer Melanie Young-Dittberner has found a feel good place in the Next. As a designer she has worked on films such as "Männerherzen" and "KussKuss - dein Glück gehört mir".

Many new faces with many fresh ideas, breathing new life into the Next, we welcome you!
